Tag der Typografie
Tag der Typografie is a fictional typography exhibition created during a typography module in my apprenticeship. I designed the poster and flyer, putting typography at the centre through an abstract visual approach. Oversized letters initially appear as geometric shapes, but reveal the word “TYPO” when viewed more closely. The resulting white space becomes an intentional area for the event information, creating a composition that feels spacious without looking empty. For the flyer, I continued the bold approach by breaking apart the letters of the names and distributing them dynamically across the page. Keeping the colour palette strictly black and white allowed the typography and the interplay of positive and negative space to remain the main focus.
